My weekend -- yikes! It's my oldest daughter's 10th Birthday today. She is celebrating with having 12 of her female friends over for a party with 6 of them staying over for a sleep over. ![]() ![]() ![]() Saturday night -- woo hoo off to my first Toronto Maple Leafs game of the year at the AirCanada Centre! Sunday afternoon is a Laser Tag party with all her male friends who umm aren't into blaring Hilary Duff music, nail polish and mock fashion shows. A good weekend to you Mike (I may be able to sneak an hour or two tommorrow afternoon in my shop. I've got a neck to fret and side dot markers to install). Ron enjoy the grandchildren this weekend. I wonder what the Zootman is up to? Hopefully scavenging some nice fallen Walnut or Maple from last weeks storm. A good weekend all. It'll be Monday before you know it. |

Shop time last night (Friday), Today (Saturday) right now I'm at work until noon, then home to plant a small tree in the front yard, do some winterizing (for you warm weather folks, that is where we put our summer/fall stuff away and prepare to hunker down for the long cold months ahead ![]() ![]() THEN, I'm headed to Best Buy to do a little more Big Screen TV shopping, I've pretty much settled in on a Plasma, just have to decide the manufacture and size, 42 is adequate, but 50 sure looks good ![]() After that, ill watch the Michigan game (TIVOED) and then the Tig's... I just may slip in an hour of shop time too, I have some backs that need bracing ![]() Church Sunday from 8:30 tell 1:00 then Ill rush home to watch the Lions loose again ![]() Sounds busier than it actually will be... |

Today is supposed to be dry, so putzing out in the yard. Beating back the bushes, maybe steal some time to get into the shop. Tomorrow we both have off, so we are heading out over Steven's Pass and maybe up to Leavenworth. The leaves are changing and while the show isn't as impressive as it is on the other coast (gawd, I miss fall in VA) it wins hands down over the desert. Pecans turn a nasty olive brown. Just a nice quiet day. |

My godson spent the weekend with me "helping" to build the guitar I started for him. ...Golfed while glue dried on Saturday ...Enjoyed another Notre Dame come-from-behind victory over UCLA ...worked in the shop till 1:00 AM Sunday I sent him back on his way to Kent State and played golf in 20 mph wind and 40* temps. I won the club shootout and pocketed the $100 first place money... it was a true test of survival! Thawing out now and watching football. I'll be back in the shop this evening once I get feeling back in my fingers. |
